1. Mr. Ashraf Nawabi (Chairman/CEO)
Mr. Nawabi is a seasoned banker, working in United Arab Emirates since 1967. He has worked in United Bank Limited/BCCI, as CEO for their Middle East Regions. Presently he is working as Advisor in Emirates NBD Bank PSC which is largest Commercial Bank in the Middle East & Africa....
He is also Board Member of Alliance Insurance P.S.C, Dubai and JS Bank Limited, Pakistan. He was Board member of Union National Bank Abu Dhabi, the third largest Bank of U.A.E. for almost ten years. Mr. Nawabi, in coordination with Dubai ruling family members and businessmen established International School of Choueifat in Lahore in 1991. This school is one of its kind in the entire subcontinent, imparting high quality education to students for entry into leading Universities of Europe America. He is CEO/Director of First Jamia Services Limited Lahore. Further branches of International School of Choueifat are planned to be opened in different cities of Pakistan in next 2 to 3 years.
Alif Noon Parents Foundation has set up a School in Chakwal with personal contributions of Mr. Nawabi of almost Rs.200 million. The KPSS School in Chakwal is specifically designed to impart quality education to under privileged children of the area. At present the school has enrolment of 400 pupils which will gradually increase to 1500 students in next 2 years. To accommodate increase in students, substantial expansion is underway to increase the capacity of school.
Global institutions, Pakistani corporates, businessmen and individuals from Pakistan as well as from abroad continue to donate substantial amounts for this noble cause.
Further schools are also planned to be opened in less developed areas, starting next year.
2. Mr. Muhammad Sabir Khan (Director)
Col Muhammad Sabir Khan (Retd) was commissioned in the Pakistan Army in April 1967 and until his retirement in August 1994, held a number of important positions. He served as Advisor to the Director Signals, Saudi Ministry of Defence Riyadh, Senior Instructor at Military College of Signals, Commanding Officer of Signal Battalions and Head Signals Research and Development, Pakistan Army....
With a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the UET Lahore and extensive teaching and research experience in the Army, Col Sabir has been involved, right from the 1st day after his retirement, administration with the educational institutions. He has been associated with The Punjab School (a project of the Makkah Foundation) since July 1997 and is currently serving as Executive Director. He also takes interest in the community service and is the Vice President of the Foundation of the Faithful (FOF) - a not for profit foundation.
3. Mr. Khalid Imran (Director/Company Secretary)
Mr Khalid Imran has a master in Business Administration from Karachi University. He served BCCI for 16 years in different capacities and left when he was General Manager of BCCI Middle East Region. He was member of Core team which established Prime Commercial Bank Limited in 1991....
He derved Primbe Bank in the capacity of Senior Executive Vice President and continued with Prime Bank through its acquisition by merger with ABN Amro Bank in Pakistan and subsequent acquisition of ABN Amro Bank in Pakistan by Royal Bank of Scotland. Mr Khalid Imran joined JS Bank in 2012 and was appointed as President and CEO in 2014.He has over 40 years of diversified banking experience in Pakistani and foreign banks.
Mr Khalid Imran was one of the founding members of International School of Choueifat and is still serving in the capacity of Director of M/s First Jamia Services Limited. He is also associated with overseeing operations of KPSS School, The project of Alif Noon Parents Foundation in Pakistan.
